Please
note: The fare box accepts $1, $2, $5, $10 and $20 bills as
well as U.S. coins, including $1 coins. If you insert more
than the price of the fare, the fare box will issue a change
card with your balance. Drivers do not give change. For more

Visa and MasterCard are now accepted on the bus.
All-Day Pass
The All-Day Pass is valid on any MTA bus route from the time
of purchase until the last bus runs that day. All-Day Passes
can be purchased on the bus. Please inform the driver before
depositing any money into the fare box. For your convenience,
the All-Day Pass is now available for advance purchase at
any MTA ticket outlet, online at nashvillemta.org, by mail,
or by calling Customer Service Care at (615) 862-5950.
Also,
please note that the All-Day Pass is only valid for MTA trips
within Davidson County.
20-Ride
Discounted Pass/31-Day Discounted Pass
(for seniors age 65 and older and people with disabilities)
The 20-Ride Discounted Pass is valid for 20 rides on any MTA
bus route.*
The 31-Day
Discounted Pass is valid on any MTA bus route for 31 consecutive
days from the first day of use. This pass provides unlimited
rides during the 31-day period.*
7-Day
Pass/31-Day Pass
The 7-Day Pass is valid on any MTA bus route for seven consecutive
days from the first day of use. This pass provides unlimited
rides during the seven-day period.*
The 31-Day
Pass is valid on any MTA bus route for 31 consecutive days
from the first day of use. This pass provides unlimited rides
during the 31-day period.*
20-Ride
Express/20-Ride Local
The 20-Ride Express card is valid for 20 rides on any MTA
bus route.*
The 20-Ride
Local card is valid for 20 rides on any MTA bus except express
routes. Deposit an extra 50 cents to use the 20-Ride Local
card on an express bus.*
Quest
7-Day Youth Pass/Quest 31-Day Youth Pass
(for youth age 19 and under)
The Quest 7-Day Youth Pass is valid on any MTA bus route for
seven consecutive days from the first day of use. This pass
provides unlimited rides during the seven-day period.

31-Day Youth Pass is valid on any MTA bus route for 31 consecutive
days from the first day of use. This pass provides unlimited
rides during the 31-day period.
20-Ride
R&R Express Plus (RTA)
The 20-Ride R&R Express Plus card is valid for 20 rides
on the Route 96X bus to and from Smyrna, LaVergne and Murfreesboro
and all other MTA bus routes.

Park-n-Ride
Several bus routes provide Park-n-Ride services. Park for
free and ride the bus. Please refer to individual route maps

Bus
Stops
If no bus stops are visible in the area where you wish to
board, please go to the nearest intersection of the street
traveled by your bus and flag the bus down when it comes into
view.

Destination
Signs
Every MTA bus is marked by a route number as well as the destination
name or area. All express buses are designated by an "X"
following the route number. As you board an MTA bus, if you
have any questions about where it is going, ask the driver.
Services
for Seniors, People with Disabilities or Medicare Cardholders
Seniors age 65 and older and people with disabilities qualify
for a reduced MTA fare of 80 cents on MTA buses with one of
the following ID cards: Medicare, Seniors-MTA Golden Age,
or driver¹s license; Disabled-Medicare, MTA Special Service,
or other transit ID card for the disabled.
Medicare
cardholders, who are not elderly or disabled, also qualify
for a reduced MTA fare of 80 cents on MTA buses with their
Medicare ID.
Passengers
whose disabilities prevent them from using the large MTA buses
may qualify for special door-to-door van service through the
MTA AccessRide Program. Please call the MTA AccessRide Office
at (615) 880-3970.
RideSharing
RideSharing services offer employers and individuals assistance
in setting up employer-based RideSharing programs or matching
individuals with car pools and van pools.
Car
pooling
Car pooling is for people who want and need flexibility. You
can pool one, two, or more people from the RideSharing match
list. You can drive, drive on alternate days, or just ride.

Van
pooling
Van pooling is ideal for larger groups (nine to 15 people)
who commute long distances to work. You can start a van pool
with your own van or use a lease arrangement. Call RTA at
